LB Darron Lee (National Champion, Super Bowl Champion, Fugitive)

saw this one on 11w:

That's why you do the circle drill. That's why Urban Meyer's teams win.

"Run away from Darren Lee"

If I was Oregon I would run to the boundary as often as I could. That is where most of Alabama's ground attack worked, running away from Lee and right at Grant. Grant still seems a bit slow filling down to the LOS, and the way OSU pops outside the slot and the way they keep the safeties a bit deeper in their quarters makes me believe that's the better place to attack.

The past couple months Lee has just been a missile out there. Don't counter away from him (he'll blow through the pulling OG), and don't try to get outside of him on sweeps to the edge. If Oregon thinks they can attack Lee on the ground, they better try to punch him in the mouth directly or else they'll be in for a lot of "and-long" situations.
They were running away from bosa all night. Now they have to run away from lee and grant. Might as well say they have to run away from Bennett and Washington because they are pretty talented. Next thing you know they are running to the wrong end zone. We had too much talent across the field for them to beat us.

And (in case you didn't know) Lee can "troll" with the best of them too:

Ohio State LB Darron Lee trolls Cardale Jones with LeBron James picture (Photo)

A short time before Jones made the LeBron-esque announcement, the Sugar Bowl Defensive Player of the Game dropped this on twitter.

Darron Lee @DLeeMG8
"Yo dawg...make your decision on TV..."

Oh, now that was masterfully done, and while we’ve seen throughout the course of the past few weeks that Jones is one of the biggest pranksters on the Ohio State team, Darron Lee definitely wins this round.

Lee is starting to be the character of the Defense. Good to see them keeping the young pup hungry and humble. HS stars mean nothing in college

Watched the Bama game again yesterday and that play where he beats/jumps over the block and makes the tackle on the WR screen is just an amazing play. Small play in the grand scheme of things, but, to me, that's a LB equivalent of Barry Sanders making people whiff and fall down on a spin move or Michael Jordan breaking someone's ankles on a crossover dribble. Reminded me of some of the plays Troy Polamalu made when he was in his prime.

No, not a small play at all. To me, that's a clear example of his uber athleticism. All season Lee flew around the field, and it started in the Navy game, and continued thoughout the season. When plays broke down, and most defenses give up big plays, we had a LB that could make it up and tackle in space, smaller slot WRs to TEs to any sized RB. This is the type of LB that's needed in defenses nowadays when most offenses are running the spread. A LB is needed to stop the run(Perry) and another is needed to be able to guard in space(Lee), and hopefully one that can do both or be able to do one or the other(McMillan now).

"Uber athleticism" is 100% correct. And he's still a youngin'. LOL...
