Oddly Hull got all the accolades from the TV announcers last night. I barely remember them even mentioning Perry at all. One was a Penn State alum, but I'm sure there was not bias there at all.

Blackledge was great. I'm sure he loves PSU,but he did and does a great job.

Meanwhile Perry has steadily improved, fun to watch that happen.

Yea the reason why he was not praised as much as Hull probably has more to do with the fact that Hull is one of thee top 2 guys on their defense, top 3 on the entire team. So a major talking point. Perry is very good, but not as much of a talking point due to his relation of his teammates. JMO.

I noticed that too. When you have a DLine like ours, bumping at the line and redirecting a receiver can qualify as a coverage sack.

Is Joshua trying to do too much?
Against Minnesota, many of the big run plays came on his side where he simply left his gap, came across the middle or even all the way on the other side while the running back had huge holes where he was supposed to be. He also, with the other two LBs would come up too fast to the line, and they get caught up or pushed aside.

The triplets: DE Joey Bosa, LB Darron Lee, S Vonn Bell
The skinny: Bosa, a junior who is heading into his third season as a starter, might be the best player in the nation, regardless of position. He is both athletic and powerful, and is a pass-rush force; he also holds up against the run. Lee, a sophomore, is another with a high ceiling. He runs well and packs a wallop. He and senior Joshua Perry are the best linebacker duo in the nation.
