Very Katzenmoyer-like dimensions (besides weight). Welcome Mike!

Mike says he bonded with the staff and just wants an opportunity to compete for the starting job. He is recruiting his brother Mickey Mitchell and also has two more younger brothers in the family.
Having Mike at Ohio State for football is super and having his brother Mickey come to Ohio State would be very very nice. I wonder what the other two younger brothers excel at.
IIRC, one of his younger brothers is a 5-10 6th grade quarterback. I can't recall where I read that, though.
Honestly he looks more like a young Ted Hendricks to me right now.
I just read in his brother's thread that one of his younger brothers McKinley will be a freshman this year and plays QB.
I can see that. Kinda reminds me of a guy that played Lobo back at UNM as well. Of course by the time he's done in the weight room at tOSU he could look more like J.J. Watt lol.
Mind blowing combination return man, short yardage back, defensive end, middle linebacker. It seems weird until I remember his Nike combine performance as a great athlete. When I think of a short yardage back, I think of Refrigerator Perry, but he was not a return man.
Along with everyone else, I am looking forward to all the good competition coming, starting with spring practice: Curtis Grant, Camren Williams, Josh Perry, Darron Lee, Tyquan Lewis, Jamal Marcus, David Perkins, Luke Roberts, Conner Crowell, Mike Mitchell, Trey Johnson. Two out of 11 have to step up.
you're gonna have to wait til after spring to see mitchell and johnson
Three Strikes and You are In
Some say Defense Wins Championships.
Others say you win by losing. Three strikes and you win.
Biggest upgrade I've seen in Mike's game over the last year is he seems to have so much less wasted motion. Watching film from last year Mike would make plays all over the field but there seemed to be a lot of energy wasted because of technique that needed improvement. Now he runs so much more compact yet still flies around to the football.
