No swearing in the recruiting forum, Wade.
4.39 in the 40?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Speed and size....add NASTY! Check! Welcome to the Family. Congratulation to the Mitchell Family!!!
Mitchell and Shazier... Probably two of the most athletic and talented linebackers in the nation! Both these guys have the speed to assist DBs cover receivers and tide ends.
Also Perkins... I haven't heard a lot about him as of late, but I KNOW that kid is a burner... insanely fast.

How often does someone finish first in the shot put and also anchor the 4x100 relay?
I don't know, maybe Jim Thorpe? That's unbelievable....
He only finished third in the 100 with a 10.95? Wow.
If decathlon paid better than linebacker, I think I know what this young man's sport might be ...
You have to marvel at an athlete who is one of the best in a speed event and a field event -and we aren't talking about a minor state here - this is the vast and talented state of Texas.
This guy is exceptional in terms of all of his meaurables. That doesn't mean that he can play football as a freshman at Ohio State, but if Curtis Grant falters, it wouldn't surprise me to see him right there in the middle of the Silver Bullets during the season.
I suggested this on another thread and drew some scoffs and "huhs". It depends on how quickly he can adjust to big time CFB, whether he can be instinctive, and whether he can make plays. But if he can be/is those things, and Grant can't/isn't, he will be given an opportunity.
He will be a special teams demon this season as a true freshman, and I'll bet he'll see some PT at LB as well if only in garbage time...
