I sat down this morning and reflected on some things that have substance in my life like Integrity, Loyalty and Passion. These things have either been taught to me or through trial and error. I in turn passed my experiences/lessons onto my children so that they could be decent people while following their pursuit of happiness. With that being said I found myself really confused by these so called Buckeye Fans who are constantly bashing coaches, players and recruits on social media. I understand passion but it has gotten to the point where I believe people are just seeking attention at the expense of others and borderlines on INSANITY.

I think we should remember that the Buckeyes are 5-0 and reigning National Champions. The coaches have experience (see last sentence) with winning and creating a championship atmosphere. These players that are being tweeted at are either in their teens (some in high school) or just a notch above. Would these so called fans want their children ridiculed in this manner??? Hell no is the easy answer. I really do think a daily 30 second self-evaluation (I do it every morning myself) with the mirror would do some good in our society. During that first face to face ask yourself this question: Is it not enough to be part of fan base rich in tradition without tarnishing the image?

I will stop now as there is no sense in “beating a dead horse” as I hope people will stop being hypocrites and be a fan of Thee Ohio State Buckeyes with some dignity and class (this is not Michigan).
