Cole, Knox, Dylan Thompson, quite a bit of unofficial visits this weekend.

You can add Knox's teammate Daniel Gresham to that list as well as '16 MI DE Lawrence Gordon from Saginaw Arthur Hill.

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI ? Heritage High School is still working towards a big football season.

But the Hawks already have the player to get them there.

Brian Cole experienced a breakout campaign for Heritage in 2012and recruiters have taken notice. The sophomore athlete has reportedly received a scholarship offer from Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes, according to ESPN.com.

According to the report, the offer is Cole?s third along with ones from Michigan and Michigan State. It also said national runner-up Notre Dame and Stanford have expressed interest.

?I feel blessed and thank God that I got the Ohio State offer,? Cole said in the story. ?It feels great. Words can?t explain what it means to get it this early. I?ll keep grinding even more. To be honest I actually am kind of shocked.?

At 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, Cole was one of the best athletes in the Saginaw Valley League in 2012, being named to the all-league teams as a receiver and the Saginaw News/MLive.com Dream Team. He also spent time at running back. He finished with 87 carries for 688 yards and four touchdowns, while catching 15 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns.

A standout performance at the New Level Athletics 7-on-7 Midwest Regional in Youngstown, Ohio secured the Buckeyes offer for Cole.

Cole is listed as a safety and wide receiver prospect on Scout.com, while ESPN has him listed as an athlete prospect for 2015.
