He sounds like he is all about getting better and he doesnt shy away from competition.

He has about 5 or 6 camps on his schedule and two of them are here. The nike camp and our camp.

I just can't wait for him to come in and have some one on one time with Tressel. I think it could move us into the drivers seat.

I hope we get him or at least KEEP SCARING the scummies about a top michigan kid going south to OSU.
Ireally like that idea the most about how OSU is doing there recruiting in outer states, making them think that they can come to ohio to try to grad a kid but, we will return the favor in therer areas and we will win it.

I hoping he catches the Buckeye fever again once the season starts. Our depth chart looks great and the NFL draft I think will impress him. Maybe we will be blessed with Michigan stubbing their toe earlier in the season where the can LLLLloyd refrain begins loud and early.

I'm starting to read that it will be hard for OSU to get him. I do not know if this is the bad news part of it or not. I'm just confused because there was a lot of talk before NLOI signing day that he might be an early verbal for this year. I realize that kids change their mind but I do not understand when their is a complete change of opinion like I'm seeing now. I do not know anything into this situation but it seems like the early opinions were very premature. I hope he wants to be a Buckeye in the end. GO BUCKS!!!

Early opinions are, by their very nature, premature. That's why it's best to consider a recruit a commitment when he verbals, and a Buckeye when he sign his LOI. That being said, don't write off a recruit unless/until he commits/signs with someone else.

Barksdale is a top national prospect with many excellent options. It is rare for any program to land such a player without a struggle.
