ESPN $ - Big 2015 Cass Tech QB set to visit OSU

3/17

By Bournival....Has offers from Alabama, Eastern Michigan, Michigan State & Notre Dame. Says out of all the schools that haven't offered, tOSU is showing the most interest. Potentially visiting tOSU on 4/6, but a date hasn't been set yet. Grew up an Ohio State fan & really wants an offer.

This was rumored to be in the works with MSU hiring Curtis Blackwell...
I don't get why people are giving Blackwell credit for this, when "not getting a Michigan offer" was more of a reason than the Blackwell hire.

Huge hire w/ Blackwell by MSU, they're reaping in the early benefits with some nice commits today
Not until MSU lands a top recruit from outside of Michigan/Ohio that Michigan and Ohio State wanted ... and MSU still landed, will I be impressed.

While he's a local kid, if MSU can land Brian Cole, I'll be impressed.

That said, I wish nothing but the best to Mr. Campbell .. I wonder if the Alabama offer was for WR or QB.

Here you sound almost as bad as most OSU fans with the "we didn't want him anyways" schtick...like the only reason he picked MSU was because UM didn't offer.

Michigan fans don't want anybody to notice Michigan State.

Or that they're 1-4 against them in the last 5 years.

They already have 2 of the top 5 in-state kids locked up (assuming they can hold on) and are very much in the thick of it for the other 3 (2 of which are Cass Tech boys with Jayru).....I'd say he's paying off quite well. On top of that, they are in the lead (or tied) for all 3 of those kids (although Cole seems to be a genuine in state toss up). You can hate all you want but Blackwell has fantastic connnections in state, is well respected and is putting in the results early.

He didn't have the UM offer but did have one from Bama.

Saban better follow the lead of the Blue if he wants to bring his program up to speed.

So we should offer everyone Bama does? Jayru More than likely was never going to receive an offer. We are in on some top talent in 2015 QB. If he got an offer from Michigan It would have been late and still could be but highly doubtful. If we do offer in state QBs I hope its Malzone. We have a serious number crunch for that class. Right now somewhere around 13. That's before any attrition that may take place, but I see the numbers coming down on the attrition opposed to what we have seen the past 4-5 years.
