Michigan's Class of De-Commitments

Brady Hoke is a negative recruiter. By that I mean instead of recruiting kids to Michigan, he de-recruits them away from Michigan. Here's where the Michigan's 2015 Class of De-Commitments stands as of today:

Michigan's 2015 Class of De-Commitments
1. Chris Clark (Scout 5*, #1 TE, #23 overall, 300 points)
2. Damien Harris (Scout 4*, #5 RB, #53 overall, 216 points)
3. George Campbell (Scout 4*, #8 WR, #55 overall, 213 points)
4. Mike Weber (Scout 4*, #10 RB, #77 overall, 211 points)
5. Darrin Kirkland (Scout 4*, #6 MLB, #120 overall, 215 points)
6. Darian Roseboro (Scout 4*, #14 DT, #145 overall, 207 points)
7. Shaun Crawford (Scout 4*, #19 CB, #157 overall, 202 points)
8. Garrett Taylor (Scout 4*, #30 CB, #270 overall, 191 points)

The above eight players have a combined 1,755 recruiting "points" in Scout's system. A recruiting class with just those eight players would currently rank as the 37th best recruiting class in the country.

Michigan's six current verbals have a combined 1,000 recruiting points, which currently ranks as the 59th best recruiting class in the country, just behind Central Michigan and just ahead of Florida Atlantic.

Great job, Brady! Keep up the good work!

Michigan's recruiting is so jacked up right now, it's no longer a dumpster fire but this:

After watching the big house figuratively burn to the ground this season, I have a bit more respect for the way Fick and co. were able to mostly hold the recruiting situation together until Urban the One-man Cavalry rode in.

This is something to behold. No one seems to be holding anything together up there. If they really are going to get rid of Hoke, they really should be moving much more swiftly about it if they hope to sign something that somewhat resembles an FBS recruiting class in 2015. I know that's easier said than done, but do they know about contingency plans up there? Shouldn't AD and HC candidates have been thoroughly researched many months ago? Then again, I guess you can do all the research you want, but if no one is interested is interested in coaching in the outhouse, then no one is interested in coaching in the outhouse.

I almost feel sorry for them...but not so much that I don't want the Bucks to choke them out next weekend.

NO MERCY. WOLVERINE PELTS FOR ALL.

O-H!!!

Using 247 Composite, their current class is ranked 70th with 131.92 points.
Their 7 decommits would rank 45th with 165.28 points.
If you give them all 14, they would rank 14th with 234.82 points.

If you take only our top 14 commits, they would still outrank UM with 242.69 points.
Our top 7 commits get 170.69 points by themselves.

What I'm getting at is that UM, even at their absolute best, is still inferior to OSU in every facet of the game.
