NFC East Championship Game: Dallas @ Washington

I see RGIII has already ascended to Brady-Manning protection standing with the refs.

I don't know--the NFL has been hyper-protective of all of its QBs for years now. I don't think there's a QB in the league who doesn't get that call--the Cowboys player swatted RGIII right in the head.

Tony Romo is not the reason this team won't make the playoffs.

Totally agree. Yeah, 3 INT's, but the defense completely collapsed in the 2nd half. Hard to replace the pivotal players this team relied on all season on both sides of the ball (Especially the defense). They were relying on a plethora of backups.

3 INTs in a game that could've sent his team to the playoffs might indicate otherwise.
The defense has given up 270 yards rushing. It's also one loss. He isn't responsible for them losing to Baltimore, New Orleans, Atlanta, or Washington on Thanksgiving.

I realize not blaming Dallas failing on Tony Romo requires critical thinking. Sorry for that.

It's been fun watching a young Washington
Squad. Friends that knew little about football
Jumped on the RG3 bandwagon. My Facebook
Is lighting up with HTTR.

That said. I will get a small amount of satisfaction
From next Sunday. Seattle and that defense are
Legit. I don't think the Skins know what's coming.

He had the ball with a chance to win the game, and what did he do? Oh, right--he pulled a Tony Romo and threw another INT. Sorry to interrupt your bitch fest, but a lot of teams could whine and blame not making the playoffs on injuries--it's part of the game, fella. I've watched enough Cowboys games over the past 6 years to know that the team is never going deep into the playoffs with him at the helm. I realize that requires only paying the slightest bit of attention and having an ounce of common sense. Sorry for that.

We hear this every damn year, though. The fact that he's fucked up every single big moment in his career is enough for me to conclude that he is not a winner. Sometimes it really is that simple.

Collinsworth with the line of the night: "Well you don't get winners without losers, and for Tony Romo, well..."

Romo may not have lost this game, but he certainly didn't help the team much either. Defense was terrible, but with a Ryan in charge, don't know how that can be a surprise.

Blame the loss on him. It accounts for one. They've lost seven.

I didn't blame not making the playoffs on injuries. I also didn't blame the shitty defensive play, penalties, and everything else wrong with the team on Tony Romo because I'm not Joe Dipshit-Sportsfan.

I've payed attention to a QB who has finished the season at least 8th in QB rating in four of those six years. I've also watched a team blow games in every way imaginable. You don't think they'll win with him because it's fashionable to shit on him for whatever reason. I don't think they'll win with him because the team sucks and the coaches suck and the GM sucks.

I have been alive for 30yrs, and I still have yet to meet a Cowboys fan, actually from Texas . Same goes with Pittsburg. No wonder I HATE these two teams.

Put most teams' starting QBs on that team and they still aren't making the playoffs. Romo is one average player on a team full of average players.

Romo deserves blame, but there's plenty to go around.

He didn't lose the game....their depleted defense lost the game (just like the Redskins defense in the beginning of the season)

But 5 picks against Washington definitely didn't help his team's cause in Washington sweeping Dallas.

Living this close to Pittsburgh, I've seen lots of people from there who were from there.

But yes, just like scUM there are lots of fans because they love the color schemes.
