WTF????

I MEAN SERIOUSLY - WTF!!!

Three quarterbacks my ass. Have they changed the Heisman odds in Vegas yet? Did we even try to recruit Golson? Is Michigan open to a trade for Rudock?

3/4 front or 4/3 front - who gives a shit! Just run the damn ball and block somebody!

Four possession that started in NIU territory - and we scored 10 points. They gave us the ball on the 35 on EVERY kickoff! And why the hell is NIU kicking off four times to begin with?

17 possessions and one drive longer than 44 yards?

Have we broken the record for average points in a season? Or are we still working on that?

Five possessions that ended in turnovers and 5 three and outs?

And just why were both Taylor Decker and Pat Elflein on the list for having made tackles yesterday? Did we move them to special teams to take advantage of their blistering speed? Or are we having a bit of a problem taking care of the ball.

14 turnovers in five games. 3.5 turnovers per game if you drop Hawaii.

And thank goodness Jalin Mashall has learned from his mistakes and no longer takes chances on punts - particularly when all we need to do is gain possession and run out the clock.

Capital "W" Capital "T" Capital "F"!

That said - I'm Good.

Three and O and we still have our Mulligan (usable anytime up until the MSU game).

And the D. Dear Lord the D. We are just getting started. Half the defenders who made tackles on Saturday are underclassmen.

Yes, NIU did score three times. But their average field position on those three drives was the OSU 36.

Truth be told I actually feel better about our QB situation than I have since the opening kickoff against Va Tech.

Urb will look at the film and realize that having a QB who can stand flat footed and fire a rocket to a receiver who has gone on to the NFL is not what this team needs most. Barrett will be ready to go next week. He will run the offense. He will build confidence without anyone looking over his shoulder. The slobs gel we will see the team that finished last year once again.

So I'm good - and happy with the world we live in.

It's a world where the B1G has only two teams in the entire conference - and as Dr. Seuss would tell you - they are Team1 and Team2.

It's a world where Stanford is 5-2 in their last seven games against USC.

It's a world where a doggie treat was dangled in front of Bama fans three times only to be jerked away and leave them crying in their doggie dish.

It's a world where the 10 SEC teams that graced the top 25 only two weeks ago have lost six games in that same span.

It's a world where Brett Beliema has more crow on his plate than even he can stuff in his gullet.

And amazingly it's world where a team can twice blow a three TD lead, win by the margin of a helmet-bounce-TD and still jump 12 spots in the polls - while Georgia and LSU watch them go by with a "WTF?" of their own.

It is a world where we are still the kings. And it is good to be the king.

We WILL cover the spread next week or I will eat that item I am trying to buy from Jaxbuck.

You can bet your used butt plug on it.

Spread is only 28. I don't think winning by 28 is enough. I'm thinking 50-7. But I'm not worried as much about the QBs and I am the WRs. Routes are flat. Michael Thomas can't do it alone. And the WR blocking is flat out awful and costing us huge yards on plays. Find guys who can run their routes and are willing to block, and let the rest of the guys sit and watch how it's done.
