Kareem WaLLker (dismissed from ttun)

I thought Guarantano was a QB... So his position coach would be Beck. Which would have no effect whatsoever on him. And for Walker, I'm not exactly sure who has his region, possibly Smith or LJsr. But I'm sure Urban has been out in front of this one. Its not like the staff just found out today. I'm sure with how long Drayton and Meyer have coached together, he told him about his interview. And Walker could be waiting to see who's the next hire
Beck is new and Draytons replacement will be new, so the 2 individuals in charge of coaching/recruiting them has recently been turned over. I tied them together because they play against each other in high school, are friends and have talked about going to school together. Coaching turnover breaks current communication with their future development at the position and may open doors to other schools. Also the timing of Guarantano's decision to move back his commitment falls in line with Draytons movement to the NFL. It could just be weird timing and could mean nothing. The coaching turnover will have some effect but just how small or large at this point is yet to be known.

Itll be fine regardless. Coaching turnover happens yearly, it should almost be expected at this point if a team gets any amount of success. If Oline recruits think Warriner will be there another 4-5yrs, i highly doubt it. Commit to school not coach. Schools like Auburn, UF And Alabama the year before lost coordinators and recruited fine.

My understanding is the hiring of Coach Alford will only help solidify Kareem's commitment to OSU.

I can't wait to see this kid in scarlett and gray. 6'1" 210lbs as a Jr. He is going to end up being a 235lb monster that can fly at tOSU. Usually our 235lbs guys are not absolute burners like this kid is going to be. He is going to have the total package.
