Ed "LL" Warinner (Run Game Coordinator FAU)

I heard the same thing on BN. There is also a post from a Chicago paper that covers ND. That says the same thing. It's funny all the ND fans are freaking out and sayin he is goin to wisky not tOSU. But mostly because they don't want to believe that some of those OL recruits are also rumored to now be open to the bucks. Or let me clarify there are some posts on a few different sights saying that.

That's the only reason I didn't put Ohio State before OL in the title.

Once it's officially official I'll add it in.

On the other hand I already added his name to the confirmed list in the Meyer coaching staff thread on the rumors forum...so at least I'm inconsistent. :)

I don't know a lot about blocking, but wouldn't hands being so close together be easy to beat with a swat then spin? If the opponent knows you are going to reset your hands they can disrupt it I would think.

You have obviously never tried a swat+spin against a 300lber

That's the correct hand position. Wider and youre begging for holding calls.

I don't know how to respond to the last part. Of course the defender knows you're going to reset your hands, you're not just going to let them by. That's why having a good punch is important, it halts the defenders forward progress enough so you can reset.

Thanks for clearing it up. In the practice video it looks easy to beat, but then again that is at a snails pace. I'm sure at full speed with all of that weight against you it makes a difference.

That drill would work better if the Olinemen were practicing that vs Dlinemen in drills. The Olinemen in those clips are spinning the wrong way sometimes. I don't know if that makes that much difference really but if you want to practice something you should practice it perfectly, no? It does look better though when they speed it up and give ground.

Refreshing to see new ideas coming in for sure.
