That drill would work better if the Olinemen were practicing that vs Dlinemen in drills. The Olinemen in those clips are spinning the wrong way sometimes. I don't know if that makes that much difference really but if you want to practice something you should practice it perfectly, no? It does look better though when they speed it up and give ground.

Refreshing to see new ideas coming in for sure.

I'm pretty sure they do it vs other offensive linemen first, at half speed so the coaches can harp technique and see fundamentally where a guy stands. Later on in practice they bring the defensive linemen over and crank up the intensity during 1-on-1's.

Anyone have any insight as to why Warinner & Hinton haven't been officially announced as part of the staff? I mean the contracts are done right?
There is a post in the Ohio State/Indiana basketball game thread that says the football staff will be introduced at halftime of the basketball game this Sunday so it must be a done deal. It is possible that there could be a slight delay in the official announcement because of State hiring requirements. Such as the date when the job was posted. Just a guess on my part.

And Timmy Scott Hinton are both listed in The Ohio State University directory.

Well, I guess Ed is not in the staff directory as of today and Mike is a Compliance officer... interesting to say the least.

I believe I read somewhere that they are brothers. I think I saw it on a ND site somewhere.

Oops, brother. I would agree that having Mike at tOSU would help draw Ed here, but I just want it to be official before I get too excited. :wink2:
