LB Justin Hilliard (2020 B1G Champ Def POG)

Farrell reverses himself:

Mind of Mike
Last week a few questions crept up regarding the commitment of four-star linebacker Justin Hilliard to Ohio State after he surprisingly took an official visit to Iowa. However, now it seems as though Ohio State fans don't have anything to worry about. While Hilliard may still take another visit to Iowa, which is where his brother plays, he still seems very solid to the Buckeyes and should stay that way unless something unexpected happens in the next couple of months. In fact, the trio of Hilliard, Nick Conner and Jerome Baker, who flipped from Florida to Ohio State on Tuesday night, should all end up in Columbus before all is said and done.

There is a disconnect between what Hilliard's dad and what Hilliard himself have been saying lately which explains the varying reports.

Farrell talked with the father for his first report (Baker plays same position, watch out for Iowa) and Hilliard himself more recently (no worries for Ohio State).

Edit: I should modify this to say that this is what I strongly suspect is happening based on various reports.

First and 10: Big Hitters
#7: Justin Hilliard
The nation's No. 1 ranked inside linebacker packs a punch when he arrives at the football. At 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, Hilliard has an ideal frame for the linebacker position, combining both length and bulk. He knows how to use that frame to deliver the big hit as well. One reason for Hilliard's heavy-hitting ability is that he always plays with good pad level and rarely gets caught higher than his opponent, giving him maximum leverage and allowing him to deliver his full power into his opponent.
