Danny Clark looked good, and it's clear he's been working hard to improve his accuracy and consistency. Clark is going to be a 6-foot-4, 240-pound quarterback by the time he arrives on campus and if the improvement from last year to this is matched each of the next two summers, Ohio State fans will be in for a treat. I know the hype around his game and recruitment can be overwhelming, but Danny continues to work exceptionally hard and never skips a rep or fails to compete and that's a great sign.

The line was dying down. Some of the top high school football talent in the country had entered Ohio Stadium, but Danny Clark made sure to get everyone's attention.

Ohio State's 2017 quarterback commit out of Massillon, Ohio and now a junior-to-be at Archbishop Hoban in Akron, decided he was going to be a Buckeye as soon as Urban Meyer's staff offered him a scholarship in December 2013.

CLARK IMPRESSING AT ARCHBISHOP HOBAN
There's no way to sugarcoat it: the sophomore season at Massillon Washington for Danny Clark was not good, for a number of reasons. The Buckeyes' 2017 quarterback commitment transferred to Akron's Archbishop Hoban and, according to his new offensive coordinator, things couldn't be going better.

"He's great," Drew Sarachman told 11W. "He's still getting used to a new offense, but he's been our No. 1 quarterback from day one."

"A lot of people want to see (Danny) fail for no reason other than jealousy. People make up rumors, he doesn't deserve a lot of the criticism he gets," the Hoban assistant continued. "He is a great teammate and a great kid. If he was never able to play a snap for us we would still be a better team with his presence alone. When you get to work with him every day like I do, it's no mystery why (Urban) Meyer wants him at Ohio State. I love that kid and there is not a quarterback in America I'd rather have."
