QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

Really excited for Mr burrow. After so many years of having running quarterbacks giving me a heart attack I'm enjoying what we are doing now. I think Joe can continue that tradition.

We're still after Torrance Gibson. It's not like our staff has stopped going after running QBs. But I agree ad know what you mean. I like us going after QBs that throw first but can get first downs with their legs.

Athens 82, Wellston 7

No stats online yet but should be pretty gaudy.
They're actually not. He got hurt early and only played a quarter. Like 5/6 for 100 yards and 2 td's.

Edit from 247:

Athens defeated Wellston 82-7. Joe Burrow played only one quarter. He was 5 of 6 passing for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Burrow left the game with a knee injury. He did not return, but was throwing and playing catch on the sideline after being checked out by medical personnel.

And from his brother:

I spoke to my Father and brother who are both there. Joe will get it checked out and possible MRI tomorrow. Don't have a lot of info at this time.

And that would mean the potential MRI would be today.

The competition last few weeks since steubenville haven't been good, looking forward to the playoffs to get a really good look at how good Athens is. Look to see his yards possibly go up in the next few weeks when they may have some closer games.
