Has been offered by Cincinnati & Toledo, while also hearing from Ohio State, Sparty, WVU, Purdue, Louisville, Kent State & USC. Plans on camping at Ohio State over the summer & says he'd be blown away by an offer.

His recruitment has exploded and Scates holds offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Toledo and Vanderbilt. He is also hearing from several top schools.

"My strength is my ability to use my speed and quickness to run by defenders," Scates stated. "I can also get in and out of my breaks quickly, get to my route, and catch the football."

"My favorite school is Alabama, and I've visited Ohio State, Cincinnati, Louisville and Kentucky," he added. "Schools that I think are close to offering me would be Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Ohio State."

"I want to make my decision at the end of this season or the beginning of my senior season," he continued.

By Givler.....Continues to hear from Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt & Alabama. Has been in contact with Coach Smith, who wants him to visit for a Junior Day. Remains committed to Sparty, but foresees himself rethinking his commitment.
