Wolverine is largest member of weasel family
So, I just watched the Monsterquest show on the "Ohio Grassman." I've never heard this story before. Seems like most of the people they interviewed regarding this sasquatch-like creature were a bit off-kilter.

Anyone from eastern OH ever heard the stories before?

How far east? I've heard people refer to pot dealers as their "grass man", but no "Grassman", unless they are talking about Dennis Grassman. I think he was a year behind my class in school. Had a hot sister.

I'm sure that the "Gahanna lion" probably ate the "Ohio grassman" years ago.

Gahanna lion reported roaming 13 miles away

CANAL WINCHESTER - Some people think the African lion reportedly seen roaming the Gahanna area earlier this year has wandered about 13 miles to the southeast.
Madison Township firefighter Ed Dildin says he spotted a lion Thursday along U.S. 33 near this Columbus suburb.

Salt Fork.

I also had never heard of it.

Seemed like a ridiculous thing to spend an hour on.

Funniest part was, when they had this RC helicopter they flew at night with an infrared camera and they spotted something and wondered if it was the Grassman.

I'm sure it couldn't be one of thousands of nocturnal creatures that roam the park at night. :roll1:

We used to camp there. Never saw Grassman.

Nerk City Schools sixth graders used to go to Camp Falling Rock every year. There was a story told there of "The Green Giggy". It's probably him.

I've heard quite a few Bigfoot stories from SE Ohio but I don't believe I've ever heard the term "Grass Man" before.

The show was mildly interesting but some of the "experts" they use border on idiotic. One guy was trying to attract "grassman" aka "Bigfoot" by making a hooting type sound and shining bright lights around the forest. Yeah, that always works......

Hey, don't badmouth the expert. He had a skull. Granted, it was an orangutan skull, but it was a skull he found.

I want to see this show now.
