Ohio State Athletic Program Violations

Yeah he was. I think he averaged like 9 points a game his senior year. He was a solid role player and could knock down the open shot but could never create his own shot.

I was hoping he went to UD. I don't know that they ever had a shot at him. I was at a UD summer camp back in the day and Damon was there. He was a man amongst boys back when he was 16/17. [/ threadjack]

The answer is no. Remember Lane Kiffin racked up like 13 secondary violations in his first 9 months to a year at Tennessee. Like korchiki said, if you do not self report, then some issues may arise.

Six violations :wink2:

Okay fine, 6 violations there in 7 months and one already at USC. Not to mention he and the University were just sued by the Tennessee Titans. Can I say the lawsuit is worth 6 more to get to my 13? :wink2:

46 secondary violations since June 2011

http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2012/05/ohio_states_urban_meyer_ad_gen.html

None of the violations, among the 46 reported in 21 sports since May 30 of last year, are a big deal on their own, nothing close to the major violations that threw the football program into turmoil during 2011. The violations were released to The Plain Dealer on Thursday in response to a records request filed to Ohio State on April 18 for all NCAA violations committed by the school's athletic department dating back to May 30, 2011. That was the date on which former football coach Jim Tressel was forced to resign.

The worst and most inexplicable would be the Gene Smith video to Ezekiel Elliot. How does an athletic director not know better? Fire this guy. Yesterday.

The fact that this is a violation is actually hilarious.
