I would prefer Mack staying there. A coaching change often creates recruiting momentum in the form of 'being the class that restores the tradition.'

See the early successes of Tressel, Meyer, Hoke, Jones, etc after taking over a program that had recently entered a rough patch.

That's a good point though. I wouldve wanted mack out, but the longer he stays, the better he makes TAMU and many other schools look, and he's looking even more overpaid by the day

uhm...I wonder Mack pulled his offer after he took a visit which is a big no-no.. that would take some sack for Mack to do.. which I kinda doubt at this point.

I mean the visit happened about a month ago so it would seem that this isn't the case. But who knows? If Mack doesn't win 10 games this year, he's out of a job so maybe he finally is growing a pair and enforcing policies.
