Vandalia (OH) Butler

Height: 6-foot-8
Weight: 245 lbs
Forty: 4.9 seconds

BN $ - Bucks Eye Top Soph Offensive Lineman

2/23

By BK...played RT/TE last year but will play LT this year...hasn't decided which sport he will focus on in college...loves OSU who wants him to come to camp.

Intriguing prospect and promising film...he stays engaged well and drives his man despite being so slender. Butler is a good program and being nearby Dayton, it is very Buckeye friendly. Defininitely one to keep an eye on...the GWOC is loaded with talent this year (moreso than normal).

Well, there are pros and cons to this guy. First of all, if he's an OL playing basketball, his footwork must be phenominal. But on the negative side, in basketball, he's supposed to play 'big' which is not the normal for an OL who is supposed to play 'low'. But heck, from what our depth chart looks like (assuming Heacock gets his share of the DL/OL), then we'll need to get him on board. Oh, he's highly rated? Then by all means lets.

(not to be confused with a negative 'slam' against the kid). More tongue in cheek for a Monday. Let's keep all the great Ohio kids at home, hopefully at OSU. Sign him up!
