As I wanted the "Bourbon Meyer" when we got UFM, I will be sure to drive down to Boise to drink some "Crystal Petersen," a drink that will pour bitterly down all the BSU fan's throats. Fuck Boise State, I would love to see Petersen in Eugene. Not sure if he leaves though, he really seems to like it in Boise (can't blame him much, he is God there and the city is great).

Better get that guaranteed money now, because some people who know a lot about recruiting have predicted CK will actually BE FIRED before next season due to the Willie (AKA Will, William, Bill, Billy, Cash McGee, etc.) Lyles situation. To me, it makes perfect sense for this cocky son-of-a-bitch to bolt to the NFL

Apparently this story had more legs than I thought at first, but it ended up with the same result - him staying at the college level where him and his system belong.

Kelly gets a fat raise and he gets to go into recruits' living rooms and tell them they have the opportunity to play for a coach that is wanted at the next level but isn't going anywhere. That's how the game is played. It's pretty much the same thing Petersen does when his name is out there for jobs at big boy college programs.

Can't be because he cheated, only because he was caught, and you're not caught until the NCAA says you're caught.

Wake me when someone gets busted for something other than tatoos and covering up tatoos. Heck with the urgency and pace the NCAA works (other than when you self report everything) even if the Ducks get busted, I'll be known as Rip Van GrizzlyBuck :biggrin:

We were just told that Kelley was offered 6 million a year for the Bucs job... and turned it down. Our sports guys trusts the source... but who knows at this point. No one wants the Tampa Bay job

He probably got a pair of Nikes with a check for 3 mil stuffed in each to stay at Oregon.
