I'd love to see what a pro scout would put Mike's upper end draft round potential at this point (i.e. 4th round, 2nd round, etc.). There's a huge range of possibilities in that answer that wouldn't surprise me. I guess best estimate would be just about as interesting to me.

If I had to take a shot (and my opinion of course doesn't mean anything), my best estimate at this point would be 5th-6th round with upper end potential of 2nd round, although 3rd may be more realistic. The lower end, undrafted, would still not be a surprise to me at all at this point.

AFK4403 I'm indie, you probably wouldn't get it.

I don't see how you could eliminate 1st round as a possibility at this point. His measurables are absolutely ideal for LT in the pros, and he has impressive athleticism. If he continues to improve over this year and potentially next year (obviously speculation, but we're talking potential here), he definitely has 1st round potential.

Going against our D line and Cameron Heyward in practice must be great for experience but I expect it can also take its toll on your confidence.
  4. To project a first round left tackle you hope to see something special at this stage of his career.

Agreed, but he's also only half-way through his career. And LT's have been drafted off of potential and a limited resume/experience more and more often in the NFL. Recently, Bulaga, Anthony Davis and Chris Williams all played 2 seasons or less starting at the Left Tackle position. Adams has almost two full seasons ahead of him to prove where he can be. I imagine it will be in the top-3 rounds.

Great to hear and see the progress being made by Big Mike both on the field, in the film room, in the weight room, and his overall commitment to this team. We all knew he could be something special when we saw him in HS and he certainly has all the physical tools to be a tackle at the next level. Stay hungry my friend.

Suprised nobody has been talking about this. I'm not familiar with shoulder injuries, but I've seen people seperate their shoulders. Usually, they just "pop it" back in I guess and get back and go. Other times, I've heard of people having to get an operation to correct the issue.

We NEED Mike this year. Especially early. We need him to continue to build confidence and to keep improving his game if we want to win against the likes of Iowa and other schools with elite DL. If Mike can't go, Steve19 may be put back on suicide watch as well, and nobody wants that...

You are better off just grabbing the guys' jersey from behind with your good arm than letting him have a clean shot at the knees of your QB. It's 10 yards vs. TP's season.

It is kind of strange that this is really the first we hear of it. I guess if you can pop it in and keep going on the next play it really wouldn't show up on an injury report. But it is kinda strange nonetheless.
