Out-of-State Players to Watch

TYJON LINDSEY EAGER TO HEAR FROM BUCKEYES
Lindsey has actually spent much of this summer in Ohio; he's got family in Middletown and for the first time has visited the Buckeye state. He has not, as of yet, begun hearing from the Buckeyes.

"I haven't yet heard from the Buckeyes," Lindsey told Eleven Warriors. "But I want to. I love how Ohio State breeds NFL-ready athletes. I've been watching their receivers ever since a friend of mine showed me the way they play. I love what I've heard about them and would love to hear from them."

Although he's been in Ohio this summer, the majority of the schools Lindsey has heard from to this point are out west. That doesn't mean he's got a preference to stay out that way in college. He's eager to attack whatever challenge comes his way.

"I've been hearing the most from Utah, UNLV, USC, Washington and Oregon," Lindsey said. "I'm down for traveling though. If I feel a school is the best opportunity for me, whether it's in the West or the East, I'm taking that opportunity."

One of the reasons the Buckeyes have caught the 5-foot-9, 160-pounder's attention? The offense the Gaels run is very similar to what Ohio State does.

"At (Gorman) they get the athletes the ball quick and rely on them to do something with it, so yes it is (similar to the Buckeyes)," Lindsey added. "Once I touch the ball, I do everything in my will to make a play. I try my best to stay untouched."
