Oversigning (capacity 25, everyone welcome! maybe)

I got myself all worked up today reading a message board of Bama fans explaining how oversigning does not give them an unfair advantage. Even when you show them the number of recruits in a given 4 year period, they don't get it.

Have you ventured down into the comments section? Some real gems in there.

I'm guessing most of those people never went to University.
Transferring in the middle of a degree isn't a one-for-one thing. As if you can just go from 'Bama to another Institution and pick up where you left off. It's a huge setback.
Granted they're probably earning degrees in Golf Course Maintenance at 'Bama anyway... but... I really can't comprehend how the NCAA gives so much power to Universities.
It's the corrupt and cynical attitude of these kinds of Institutions that makes me think they should get a union.

"But all that newfound success comes with a cost that most Big Ten fans won't readily admit to -- which is, they can no longer claim moral superiority over the SEC or any other league when it comes to shady recruiting practices. The conference that once prided itself on so-called gentlemen's agreements and honoring commitments is no different from anybody else."
