Lamont Wade (DB Penn State Nittany Lions)

The Opening Columbus: Best of the Best Defense
3. Lamont Wade, CB (Class of 2017) – Wade's a good cornerback with athleticism but his physicality was on display on Sunday. He was so effective re-routing receiver, blowing up timing and locating the football downfield. Pitt, Penn State and West Virginia make up the four Crystal Ball predictions for Wade.
Author seems to have inadvertently left out OSU n the last sentence...

Where does Ohio State stand with elite Pennsylvania CB Lamont Wade?
Wade isn't going to reveal a top list anytime soon. As long as he's picking up scholarship offers -- like the one he recently got from Nebraska -- he's going to stay open to every program.

But that doesn't mean Wade was afraid to say how excited he is to be involved with Ohio State, especially after the Buckeyes won a national title.

"I don't really have a top, but I am highly interested in Ohio State and it's very important that they (just won it all)," Wade said. "You don't want to come to college and lose and fall off and stuff like that. ... I feel like if I came here and am the player that I am, I'll not only win championships, but make it to the league."

Wade plans on narrowing his list down in about a year from now when he's heading into his senior season.

The Buckeyes will still be around.

"I'm highly interested in them," Wade said. "I am going to explore them a lot more."
Probably returning for FNL...
