Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

The big blow came this evening when news broke that top offensive tackle, Dorian Johnson, has also decommitted from the Nittany Lions. Dorian was one of the best players in the class and is probably the top recruit that O?Brien and staff have lost since the Freeh Report was released. The current class now stands at nine players, four of whom are from Pennsylvania

Oh nobody critical.:) Hack, pay attention young man. You're going to get hurt.

Not sure how much this has been discussed in this thread, but how much of the backlash and lawsuits do you think are attributable to the NCAA taking away 409? I feel like the NCAA could have given stronger scholarship cuts and a longer bowl ban, possibly even a multi-year death penalty, and many would have gladly taken it to protect Dear Leader's precious wins record. Just another reason to nuke it all and start from scratch.

A large sum. Their entire identity was wrapped up in that. Now it's gone, and they're just a goofy-ass, bitter cult.

After the Bauman incident he was fired within a day...by one of his former players (Hindman played at Miami).

Are we talking about the same Woody Hayes whose undefeated 1961 team was denied a trip to the Rose Bowl by a vote of the faculty?

I seriously have to wonder how many trolls are plying their trade on BWI. I know of five: myself, another Buckeye and a child of the corn from BP and two Shagsters. What are the odds that we're the only ones over there. I just laugh at the thought that 90% of us are all trolls just trolling each other.

BTW, they're in full meltdown mode over the Johnson decommit. One can only imagine what happens when the news about Hackenberg breaks.

The Johnson de-commit makes me think of a game of Angry Birds. You just knocked out a big chunk of the bottom row and need one more little poke to topple the whole thing - with Hackenberg falling from the top and Breneman standing there all alone saying "WTF"?

I genuinely believe that if nothing else, the RoBOT move had to make any thinking parent reconsider what their child was getting themselves into.

It is not going to end soon or pretty.

From Audibles:

Brandon Bell is on campus today meeting with the coaching staff. Issah is expected tomorrow and will be visiting with Adam Breneman.

Either BOB is calling for weekly reaffirmation meetings, or Penn State is officially a lower tier program.

What would be even more funny is if the RoBOTs are being emboldened by fake trolls on their message board.. I'm sure some of the things they say make sense to the BWI crowd.

So one of the favorite things those retards do over there is make fun of the notion that they're supposed to de-emphasize football for the sake of academics. Did the NCAA ever say the culture needed to change for academics.....or was it just that the culture needed to take away the influence football has on the rest of that university?

Short of locking them in a closet like Patty Hearst, there is nothing Buttchin can do. They're all gone, and the best thing for him would be if they all bailed this week rather than a slow, agonizing death that's spread out between now and February.
