My letter stressed honoring Joe as the model football coach, educator and philanthropist that he was, to marginalize the Freeh report, issue a statement that the NCAA penalties were wrong, without basis and outside their jurisdiction. That "Paterno Field" at Beaver Stadium become a reality, and that an apology is issued to Sue Paterno & her family, the Lettermen, the faculty & students and the University community at large. I also included a large collage of photos with Sue & Joe, his players and images of HONOR JOE from The People's Joe effort. (hat tip to some of the posters here for the wording) Even if they just glanced at it, the photos alone shouted my intent.

Very telling how she orders the university constituencies. First and foremost are the Paterno family, those who carry the bloodline of Dearest Leader. Next come the former players, those who directly felt the touch of the Great Leader. Last are the actual faculty and students of the university, almost an afterthought relative to those deemed truly important.

Moving on to the collage, I'm literally dumbfounded as to how to interpret that....absolutely fucking speechless. These people are certifiably crazy.

I think it would be a great thing to forward to every PSU fan that adores Joe & Sue Paterno, The Grand Experiment & 61 year of excellence on and off the field. Joe died fighting for what was right and for us loyal fans that loved the man and his integrity. Joe was a humble man and I'm sure he's overwhelmed looking down from heaven by all the attention but we owe him justice and we need to make sure those that are against justice are not rewarded.

It really galls me that Baron would want us to 'stop throwing punches'. Eff him and his stupid plan to appease his slave masters - the BOT. Bobby Bowden? Since when was old Bobby wrongly accused of being an enabler of ANAL RAPE? The Paterno's are the true VICTIMS and until they have been restored to their rightful position in history there will be no moving on. If the overwhelming support and turnout at the JOE OUT last week didn't wake these people out of their comma we need to ratchet up the pressure. This letter could be that solution

Its not just taking down the statue, it was the purging of all things Paterno from campus.

Take two things that were kinda cool and rename them to something plain, vanilla and generic. And really - just for stupid petty reasons.

Thank goodness they left Peachy Paterno or things would have gotten ugly.
