Antonio is interested in his two offering schools, Maryland and Illinois, as well as Ohio State, Georgia, Auburn, and Florida, and Clemson. He spoke on the phone with Coach Peterson and feels as if he would fit in the Buckeye offense. Currently, Antonio lists Georgia and Florida as his favorites.

one thing i would like to point out which makes osu's position a little better is that florida has a commitment from snead and is all over tebow's jock, while uga just got a commitment from stafford and got a very good qb last class as well, so they may be out of the qb market. this could give osu a better shot, but we'll see.

i thought this guy had an official offer? just curious as to why it wasn't marked.
Scott Kennedy from scout is in charge of evaluating the south. he said that Henton just missed his Hot 100 list. he said that we are in on him "very hard". didn't say how much of that interest was reciprocated though. said the guy has a great arm and throws well on the run, but needed to improve his accuracy.

not really sure what that means...but if you are referring to why he isn't listed in the thread title as having an OSU offer, here is the reasoning:

Scott Kennedy reported an OSU offer on 5/9. Then in an interview with Bill Kurelic on 5/19, Henton himself states that his offers are from Illinois and Maryland. So until it can be confirmed that OSU has officially extended an offer (which we are working on), he is not being listed as having an OSU offer.

It may be a moot point anyways, as Antonio calls Georgia and Florida his favorites...

Henton does not have an official offer, as far as we know. If Ohio State is pursuing him, it is probably as an "athlete" who might get a chance to compete at QB, but would likely end up somewhere else (say WR).

Scott Kennedy is correct in his assessment of Antonio - he is a "bomber", completing only 49% of his passes (73 of 149), but for 1,810 yards (an average of 25 yards per reception). Almost all of Antonio's highlight clips show him throwing the "home run" ball. He is a pretty raw QB prospect....
