WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion)

but they make up for it cause they had way better stats than Braxton...

love brax, he'll get his shot, but he's not a top 3 guy IMO this year

If anyone has the right to be [censored]ed, it's the USC WR

IMO, neither is teo. His stats are garbage for someone who plays solely on defense. Suh's stats were much better than his imo. Yet he is being considered for the heisman because he's the most important player on an undefeated team. This sounds familiar....

I agree..

I wouldn't even have Te'o in my top 5...I have Brax 4th

Next year is Braxton's year. He will have a better feel for the playbook, his reads will be better, and he will get some help with Jordan Hall and a bunch of talented freshman. Just like Urban said, He doesn't even see Braxton's ceiling. Watch how much better his passing is next year, and hopefully we step on the gas pedal with our no huddle offense.

He sould watch some game tape of RG3 playing in the Redskins offence. RG3 makes the right option read everytime and sets his feet to make throws. IMO very similar players. Miller has all thne tools to be just as good... if not better.

It was just timing imo...before the last couple weeks, Brax had some real "wow" moments (the 1 yard run against PSU really sticks out but he had some unreal runs in other games too). In the last couple weeks, he pulled out the wins but was really mitigated by Wisky and scUM, where I feel Hyde really outshined him. He was steady against them, but did nothing spectacular when Heisman voters were watching. At the same time, Teo was making signature plays on the way to a title run, Klein had big performance after big performance, and Manziel was breathtaking in taking down Bama.

Now I think Brax is the most talented player in America but as Urban said in the presser after beating scUM, we haven't even seen his ceiling yet. With that being said, it is ridiculous he didn't even get an invite to the ceremony. Feels like he is being punished for OSU not being bowl eligible.

I would have a hard time seeing Braxton be better than RG3. RG3 is the guy who will maximize his potential, and if there is a dual threat QB with more potential than Braxton, it is RG3. The guy was a semifinalist at the US olympic time trials in the 400 hurdles as an 18 year old. He has speed that Braxton does not. RG3 is outrunning NFL secondaries, and Miller really only outruns secondaries of schools like Indiana and UCF. Miller always gets caught by good teams on long runs.

Looking at stats, RG3 really developed as a passer by his Junior year. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL his Sophomore season in the 3rd game, so it is impossible to really compare stats of the two between their first 2 seasons.

I think Miller will become a great QB, but I don't know if it is fair to say that he will be better than RG3, because RG3 is just that good. I hope he is, and the guy certainly has a lot of potential, but RG3 is about as good as you can be at this stage in his career.

The edge RGIII has in speed, Braxton more than makes up with shiftiness. RGIII is a plant and cut up the field runner. He really doesn't have any shake to his game.

The passing abilities are just so night and day though. Braxton threw a pretty ball this year, but still needs a lot of work in the accuracy department and ability to throw his receivers open. Braxton seems really hesitant to fit the ball in against tight coverage even when its the correct read. The beauty of our offense, and what made Tebow such an efficient thrower, is the offense is capable of getting jail-breaks in secondary coverage. However, there are times when you need to be able to read a defense and make a tough throw.

Braxton just isn't there yet.

Braxton deserved at least an invite to New York. At least to recognize what he did and meant to this undefeated team.

If I was a B1G coach of any team that play Ohio State next year I would be scared right now. Braxton is a competitive guy and this will put a chip on his shoulder for next year. Look out B1G teams it could be scary!

A game in which Ohio State won the game. Can Collin Klein claim that when KSU had their heads stomped on by Baylor? Can Johnny "Football" claim that when A&M lost to LSU and Florida?

So, every Heisman Trophy winner has to play for an unbeaten team?

A QB is not responsible for the performance of his defense. And the last time I checked, both KSU and TAMU are pretty decent teams, thanks mainly to Klein and Manziel.

Don't need to go undefeated, but getting blown out and throwing more INTs than TDs in said game shows you weren't able to manage the game properly (whether it was due to balls bouncing off the receivers or just bad throws, I don't know) so that would be Klein.

Manziel would deserve it though IMO
