WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion)

of course it makes front page news on espn.com

http://espn.go.com/college-football...ts-michigan-wolverines-spring-game-attendance

Beating both squads in attendance was Penn State, which drew 72,000 in Happy Valley on Saturday.

I love ESPN. They write an article about Ohio State player ripping on Michigan, which is funny on a very small scale, and that's only because I'm a fan of one team. (If Auburn ripped Alabama, I don't care at all.) Then they (ESPN) feel that they have to one-up the ripper.
"Oh yeah? Well.... my dad can pee farther than you can!!"

With a headline that Miller "insults" Michigan. :roll1: Reiterating attendance figures is about the most innocuous "insult" I can think of. espn.com's headline leads you to believe Miller ripped Hoke as a horrible coach or something.

As an aside, I don't recall espn.com making front page news of the Gibbons/Hoke scandal at Michigan or of Lewan's assault charges. But Miller reciting attendance figures is front page news.

Well what year was it that the OSU women's diving team was getting free dental coverage because the dentist wasn't sending the insurance forms to the insurance company? ESPN put that as one of the headlines under "College Football".

I think that was the '04 ladies basketball team, and it was one player. But yeah, it was the top headline on ESPN's CFB page for two days.

Just watched the Brax 'juke' highlights. Glad Marroti came in and helped strip the 500 lbs of fat from the team. Watching the way the OL have had to work over the last two years, I'm sure they were glad they weren't carrying that excess weight. Just because Brax runs one way doesn't mean that people can relax when he's by 'em. He may return, requiring the OL to throw new blocks on D folk coming back the other way. I hope that the new crop of OL have that same 2 or 3 blocks per play concept in their gameplans.....Go Bucks

Heisman odds tab Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Braxton Miller among favorites

There has only been one two-time Heisman Trophy winner in the history of college football, but those responsible for setting the odds have tabbed Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston the favorite to pull off the rare feat in 2014. Winston, the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner, was given the best odds (+350) to win the Heisman Trophy in 2014 according to the new batch of odds released by Sportsbook. Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota (+700) and Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller (+700) share the second best preseason odds.

Ohio has seen a 300% increase in babies named Braxton over the past two years.

http://fearthehat.wordpress.com/2014/06/17/scarlet-ann-gray-would-approve/

The Buckeye football team’s quarterback is popular. How popular? He may be responsible for 396 little Braxtons across the state.

You see, from around the date of Urban Meyer’s hiring (November 2011), to about the time that signal caller Braxton Miller and his teammates were wrapping up a 24-game win streak (December 2013), there were 579 babies named Braxton born in Ohio.

Compare that to the similar 2-year time period prior to that, when there were only 183 babies born with that name.
