WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion)

Quarterback.

What he said.... This kid, though only a sophamore, will open some eyes in the next couple of years! Glad Tressel was all over Miller EARLY! He knows good talent when he sees it.

Braxton's cousin was a WR at OSU in the 90's I believe, this thing is as done as done gets.

OK, so where does he project at tOSU? The thread has him as an ATH. I've seen posts where he's listed as a WR, a safety, and most recently as a dual threat QB.

Probably QB but he could be an absolute stud at WR as well. I think he has the tools to be a good QB but I would almost label him an ATH, just because if he doesn't develop into a QB, he is a good enough athlete to play just about any skill position.

OSU offers Wayne QB football scholarship

By Marc Pendleton
Staff Writer

HUBER HEIGHTS ? Wayne sophomore quarterback Braxton Miller has been offered an athletic scholarship to play football at Ohio State University.
According to a webcast report during Friday's Wayne-Beavercreek football game, the injured sophomore was offered by the Buckeyes on Thursday. He cannot sign with OSU until February of his senior year.
Cincinnati also offered Miller a scholarship last February.
Miller, 6-feet-2, 190 pounds, injured his right leg in Week 6 against Northmont and is lost for the rest of the season. He completed 59 of 113 passes this season (52.2 percent) for 642 yards, good for five touchdowns and two interceptions.

I've never been able to see this kid play live, but the way some talk he must be fairly impressive. Is he #1 QB in the nation good?

He is a VERY good QB.. Let's put this into perspective a bit. WITH Braxton Miller in Wayne's lineup they are 5-0, Miller only played a half against Northmont. In that game, Wayne had Northmont right where they wanted them. They missed on a couple of opportunities early but could have beaten them with Miller in there. After Miller came out, it looked as though they gave up.. Engle, the OC, who might possibly beat out the Brat for the Bengals as the worst play caller in the history of football, ran the same play for the rest of the game and eventually lost.

Without Braxton in the lineup the Warriors are 1-2, they got SHUT OUT by one of the doormat teams in the GWOC (who are having a decent year but Wayne should have beaten them easily).

The one knock I would have on Miller at this point is he's having some problems putting the ball away. He will have these amazing runs, pick up 15-20 yards and then fumble the ball. Again though, he is only a sophamore and I only see him improving from this point on.
