QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

You're due to be one helluva disappointed fan if you live by "NC or bust".
I don't ..sad forJt that he didn't get to start the year. I was not one of the kool aid drinkers who thought they could flip a switch and be 2014. For many reasons they just aren't good enough to win the nc this year. Winning last year entitles you to nothing this year. It was a wasted year in JT's development.

JT wasn't utilized early enough. It HAS been a wasted year for him. Look at his YTD stats and think about his productivity last year. Still think this wasn't a wasted year? With or without a NC, this young man and OSU lost a year of his eligibility. And JT personally didn't progress. That's what you would call a wasted year IMO.

No, I don't consider it a wasted year in the development of JT. From his own lips, he wasn't getting it done in order to start. Furthermore, dealing with adversity and coming out on top in the long run is something that he'd have to deal with now or later in life.

This season Barrett has regressed somewhat on the field and had issues off it, but I wanted to give him some big time credit for how he played today. Powerful running and making some great decisions in the option game kept TSUN guessing the whole second half.

Also, JT is a touchdown machine. Played in 11.5 games last year and got 45. Only started 4 games this year and has still gotten in 20 or 21 times.
