QB Stephen Collier (Official Thread)

He's going to end up bigger than Brax, he won't be as tall as TP but he throws better already than TP did just about ever....

I don't know, I think he's going to be a QB at the next level...

I was only kidding, but the kid can carry some tacklers. Can't wait to see him try the jump pass.

I am so excited about this pick-up. Seems like he has his head on straight, and with a year of coaching under his belt (I assume Brax will stick around for his senior year, most dual threat qbs should) he will be elite. I am really excited to see the competition between Collier and Barrett.

If not they will fix it at camp. That is why Woody put the stripe down the middle of the helmet.

Collier: 3-Star, #57 pos rank, 6'4, not many big school offers, OOS recruit

(Guiton: 3-Star, #53 pos rank, 6'2", not many big school offers, OOS recruit )

Good pick up by the Bucks. Hopefully he booms his senior year and has the rest of the collegiate coaches and recruiters smacking themselves for not offering.

This kid was just a 3 star recruit and did fairly well:

Just sayin': those web based recruiting ranking companies are not all that accurate.

Welcome to Ohio State Stephen, you'll quickly find out (if you already don't know it) that it is GREAT TO BE A BUCKEYE.

247: Elite 11 Quarterback Camp - Best of Day 1
Five who could ascend

Stephen Collier, Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County- Collier rebounded from an up-and-down first session (per Dilfer) to have a very good afternoon workout. His arm strength, combined with his feet, quickness and athleticism, give him excellent potential. He is committed to Ohio State. Collier currently is ranked as the No. 18 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the 2014 class according to 247Sports.

I haven't been able to find anything on the web about how Stephen did in 7 on 7. Has anyone found any stats or comments about his performance? I don't think he got any air time during ESPNs coverage.

Scout $ - Buckeyes Shine At The Opening

Impressed with his mechanics & took what the defense gave him.
