WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

He being Pryor or "the other guy"?

The "other guy" (Corey Washington); however, it looks like Titus Davis might have gotten the spot:

Re: With the injuries at wide receiver, the Jets worked out several players at the position Tuesday, including Terrelle Pryor and Corey Washington. Pryor, the former quarterback-turned-receiver, had his workout with New York set up last week. The Jets also signed Titus Davis to the practice squad.

Corey Washington Jr. ‏@HeDoubleTrouble 9h9 hours ago
Not gonna sign with the Jets Today!

Re: Wide receiver Titus Davis was signed up and defensive end Jordan Williams sent home. The 23-year-old receiver is a Central Michigan product that last spent time on the San Diego Chargers' practice squad after going undrafted this April. He had 37 touchdowns on 3,700 over four years at school, running a 4.51 at the NFL Combine.

TERRELLE PRYOR TO SIGN WITH THE CLEVELAND BROWNS

The Cleveland Browns claimed Terrelle Pryor off waivers in June after a decision to switch from quarterback to wide receiver. The former Ohio State dynamo made some spectacular plays in camp, but was hindered by a leg injury.

After failing to play in a majority of the Browns preseason games, the Browns cut Pryor to make room for running back Robert Turbin, who was injured at the time.

In typical Browns fashion, the Browns went onto waive Turbin in early November.

The move came full circle on Tuesday when the Browns—after suffering another cataclysmic losson Monday Night football—brought Pryor back into the fold. Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot was the first to report the news.

Pryor was reportedly set to meet with the Chicago Bears on Tuesday, but apparently the Browns made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Geez, what TP did as a kid was being a bit too self important and taking a few gifts he shouldn't have. Not good and he knew better. And for that he took a huge hit by leaving early and took a bullet for the program.

I love Tress, but what he did was far worse than TP. I can't imagine not welcoming TP back. He gave his all for the school. Was he immature, sure but the kid loved tOSU and gave his all.

I feel compelled to mention... with TP all we know about is the free tattoos. He left school as to not be compelled to fully divulge everything that happened. TP did some stupid shit but he did not sell the university out. Should he be welcomed back as a conquering hero, no.. should he be shunned from the program, no... There needs to be something in between because I believe if he wanted to, he could have burned it all to the ground but chose to take the fall.

There needs to be something in between

This was more the intent of my post.

He didn't commit any heinous crime (although everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever). I'm not a fan of an official tribute during a game but I'm also not opposed to him being welcomed back into the fold to some degree either.

I was OK with Tressel and Clarret being part of the 10th anniversary celebration in 2012. I'd be OK with Pryor being part of a 10th anniversary celebration for 2009. His other years - 2008 and 2010 - probably won't get much celebration, if any. 2008 was a co-championship with Penn State, where we lost the bowl game (to Texas), and 2010 was the year we vacated all of our wins. 2009 was a conference championship and a Rose Bowl Championship.
