Seahawks to release Terrelle Pryor
The Rams’ patience may have paid off.
Per a league source, the Seahawks will release quarterback Terrelle Pryor. A 2011 third-round supplemental pick of the Raiders, Pryor will hit the waiver wire, since he doesn’t yet have four years of experience.
The Rams could very well be interested in Pryor, who has shown flashes of potential at the position. He was unable, however, to beat out Tarvaris Jackson as the backup to Russell Wilson.

If Pryor clears waivers, he will become a free agent.
Whether by waivers or free agency, the Rams could use a veteran presence behind Shaun Hill. The only other quarterback currently on the active roster, Austin Davis, has no NFL regular-season experience.

Jump balls to him in the corner of the end zone like the Fiesta Bowl against Texas. Nobody that would cover him is going to match his wing spin and his vertical.

I've thought that too, for several years now; but there may be a problem with it (2 month old article):
Terrelle Pryor on playing another position: I don't know how to catch
The Seahawks have shown no interest in moving Terrelle Pryor to a position other than quarterback, something that sits just fine with Pryor even though it could limit his chances of sticking in Seattle.
With Russell Wilson and Tarvaris Jackson locked into the top two spots on the depth chart, Pryor will need to show the Seahawks that he offers them enough to make keeping three quarterbacks worth their while. Showing an aptitude for another position might help Pryor show the athletic ability to pull that off, but he says that he doesn’t have one.
“I don’t know how to catch. I don’t know how to run the ball as a running back,” Pryor said, via the Seattle Times. “I’ve been a quarterback my whole life.”

Regardless, maybe it is time he learned.

If this is the end of his NFL career, this is where all the crap that happened while he was at Ohio State will hurt him. As a former player in Columbus, even if you are a 3rd or 4th string players you can carve out a nice career for yourself in Columbus. People will give you a chance just because you were a player for Ohio State, but the fact that TP burned some major brides and generally did not seem to be liked by many people will keep him from being able to just show up in this town and be given a job by someone.

You can't argue Pryor has been given opportunities to play; unfortunately, he didn't play all that well. In the end, I don't think it will matter all that much.

Is TP against playing anything other than QB? Am I the only person who thinks he would be a pretty good WR in the NFL? He might lack quickness that you would like in a WR (probably because he's huge), but he has great speed and athleticism. I'd rather have him lining up at WR for the Browns than anyone on their active roster right now. He would be unstoppable on jump balls in the endzone.
