Jeff Davidson is hardly a pipe dream.

The bottom-line: I can get comfortable with Luke if his assistant coaching staff is top shelf.

We would need to pay more than usual, though the overall coaching budget will not exceed 2010 when Tressel was making 3.7 (as Luke is a few years off from that).

There are 3 assistants that will either "retire" or retire after this year.
One other who may "explore other opportunities".

That is nearly 50% of the staff. Luke will need to make solid choices.

Jeff Davidon will be one.

And I loather the "Let's get Alonzo Spellman to coach DL, Terry Glenn WR, Stan Jackson QB's - If we do we will rulllzzzz, peace out crowd".

There are so many great coaches you pinheads have never heard of.
