RB Bri'onte Dunn (dismissed from team)

I can easily see Dunn winning a heisman at Wisconsin. I don't want to see him at UofM but what are you gonna do. Good luck to him regardless.

Dunn is a great player and we would all hate for him to end up TSUN because great players in the right system can really do damage, but I'm not about to put him in the same class with Clarett or C. Wells. While Dunn does look extremely hard to bring down on film, if you ask a defender whom he would rather face to make an open field tackle, I don't see anyone taking Clarett or Wells over any high school kid this year or perhaps even the past two years.

That said I hope Dunn has a productive career and good luck to him wherever he goes.

Here is what I don't get. If you grow up a Buckeye fan, and commit to OSU, how is scUM even on the radar let alone a decent possibility? I guess maybe I just hate scUM that much or something but to me it seems like you shouldn't even even really consider one of you're a fan of the other. That's why it's crazy for me to understand Kyle Kahlis, who grew up an OSU fan but bolted to scUM when things got scary. I can understand being worried abotu the punishment or how you'll fit into the system, but why go to the enemy if you're a big OSU fan? Surely there have to be other offers out there that are just as enticing that don't involve you going to your once hated villain in scUM....

Just my way of thinking anyhow. I could understand if he left for Wisky or something, but for hated rival scUM who looks like they'll have a spread too, not so much...

Here is to hoping he remains a Buckeye!!! But best of luck to whatever you decide to do Bri'onte.

I guess maybe you just hate Michigan that much, and expect everyone else in Ohio to have the exact same opinions and emotions.

Not everyone does. I hate Michigan as much as anyone when it comes to the games themselves, but I hardly blame any young person who chooses to go there if they think the school offers the best opportunity for them.

Oh, and saying the word "Michigan" causes me no distress whatever. It's actually going there that causes me the heartburn.

Back to Dunn. Hope he's a Buckeye, no hard feelings if he's not - at least, not until he is on the other side of the line of scrimmage.

I understand what you guys are saying but I think as a spectator and fan of the sports its easy to say, you would never go to tsun. I imagine its much different for these kids, they have to think of whats best for them and their own financial future. tsun is still close to home, they appear to be getting back on the right track, have a huge recruiting class, I couldnt blame a kid at all for choosing them. If thats what they think will be the best outcome for their future lives. I wish them all the best but will root against their team every saturday.

Dunn, I dont understand what the big deal is, C.Wells was a 1st round draft pick, big power back, with a young running qb in pryor. pryor probably ran more than he threw which was a spread offense but C.Wells still had his oppertunity and had a great year...which led to a great draft position. Dunn will have all the same oppertunity, with elite talent surrounding him. Ohio St should be a no brainer.

I for 1 hope Dunn sticks with us. But I cant for the life of me see how a self proclaimed life long Bucks fan could even consider going to that school with pee yellow and bruise. Just my opinion. but then again I have scUM TP in my bathroom for all to use. LOL

Dont get me wrong I am all for the young man making the right decision for himself and his family I fully understand and appreciate the importance of this decision for him but as a Great buckeye once said COME ON MAN!!!!!

This has been discussed before. He gets a free education from a college of his choice. Nothing to see here.

On a different note, it seems that Dunn is tiring of the recruiting process. According to umgoblue forums, a couple of recent tweets, which I will not post, suggest as much. He might be blue soon before we know it.

Its quite amusing reading recent posts by those who say they have such disdain for scum that they'd never go there and don't see why recruits who r life long buckeye fans can go to such a school. U posters obviously have never been recruited in sports and have the same viewpoint as these kids. When you're a recruit u have to take off your fan/fanatic hat and wear one that views what is the best opportunity for u in the long run. Fans look through selfish lenses because we're fans, but a kid like Dunn needs to look for early pt and a place that he feels most comfortable. Many many times kids pick, rivals because they feel it made them most comfortable and had great academics, early pt, friends were there, etc. Lets not knock this kid too much for picking scum, hell it's a free education to a good school. I hate the place on Saturdays, but it is what it is. Like hov said, "on to the next one". If Dunn picks scum it just opens up a new spot for another recruit that urban feels fits his system better. I'd take Winston, Jones, Caleb, diggs instead. We'll be good either way

Feel pretty good about Brionte and OSU. Saw him in the weight room this morning. Urban is coming to canton tonight from what I hear.

+1
I feel that Dunn wanted OSU to be the perfect place for him but may be realizing that that is no longer the case. If he feels TSUN is his best option, then it's his life, therefore his choice to make.
