I just read the girlfriend's side of it. If true, glad to see him gone. Can't abide that.

Would like to hear his side of it. Maybe if he popped her because she was stabbing at him with a knife, I might reconsider to a degree. Sounds like Urban heard his side and said, "See ya."

Would he have any chance to play this year at another school since I believe he has his degree?

He spurned TTUN, and contributed in a lot of small ways to a lot of big wins. I hope the young man can learn from his mistakes and reign in whatever woman issues he has. You just don't ever lay a hand on a woman, even crazy.

Really hoping this young man can get in a totally new environment and forge a new path for himself. Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye.

Arrest warrant issued for former Ohio State RB Bri’onte Dunn after charges of domestic violence, assault

A warrant was issued Friday for former Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn.

Dunn has been charged with domestic violence and assault after a July 17 incident. He allegedly hit his girlfriend repeatedly in the head and face at her home in Columbus, according to the criminal complaint.

COLUMBUS -- Former OSU running back Bri’onte Dunn has been arrested on charges of rape and kidnapping.

Columbus Police arrested Dunn Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say a woman reported Dunn forced intercourse in her home on Aug. 20. Dunn, 24, was placed on probation in February after pleading no contest to assault.

In July of 2016, a woman told police Dunn had repeatedly struck her in the head and face. The next day, OSU football coach Urban Meyer dismissed him from the team.

Football: Former Ohio State running back Bri’onte Dunn found not guilty on two counts of rape

Bri’onte Dunn, a former backup running back at Ohio State from 2012-15, was found not guilty on two counts of rape, according to the case docket with the Franklin County Clerk of Courts.

A third count of rape had been previously dismissed by prosecutors.

Facing 22 yards in prison, Dunn was charged on Oct. 5, 2017, with forcing himself on a woman three times after she had picked him up after him being stranded on Aug. 20, 2017.

Re: Dunn was dismissed from the Ohio State football team in 2015 for a violation of team rules. He was later charged with domestic violence and assault, though the charges of domestic violence were dismissed. He was found guilty on charges of assault on Feb. 6, 2017, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 730 days of probation, according to court documents. The 180-day sentence was suspended and not served.

Even though he was found "not guilty" on the rape charges; I'm thinking Dunn really needs to "straighten up his act".

Report: Former Ohio State RB Bri'onte Dunn arrested

Former Ohio State running back Bri'onte Dunn was arrested Friday in the Grandview area of Columbus, Ohio, for drug possession. According to a published report Friday evening by nbc4i.com in Columbus that cited the police, authorities responded to a call at 8:43 a.m. ET on the 800 block of Junction Way, where the officers found a woman who had overdosed.

The woman regained consciousness and was rushed to a local hospital after police administered two doses of Narcan, a medication in the form of nasal spray that can reverse opioid overdose. Two search warrants were obtained by authorities and they seized more than 20 grams of cocaine from the residence, where Dunn was, and arrested him.

Former Ohio State RB Bri'onte Dunn indicted on kidnapping and drug charges

Dunn is facing a nine-count indictment.

Former Ohio State running back Bri'onte Dunn is facing nine counts in an indictment filed in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.

Dunn pleaded not guilty Monday to the charges including kidnapping, corrupting others with drugs, abduction, tampering with evidence, two counts of possession of drugs and three counts of trafficking in drugs.

According to an affidavit filed by Grandview Heights police, officers were called to a home in January on Junction Way, near Yard Street, for a woman who was suffering an apparent overdose.

She was given Narcan, regained consciousness and taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Police said Dunn was detained and officers found approximately 20 grams of cocaine in his jacket while executing search warrants.
