RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, New England Patriots)

The only question with Elliott is that he plays the equivalent to D-6 football in Ohio. His team only has 30-some members, and the schools he goes up against are equally as small. However, his talent is undeniable and in no way shape or form should he be considered overrated. Excited for this young man to team up with some other electric play makers in the class of 2013 and watch our offense continue to grow.

Yeah, I think you have to look at his great performances at the camps and combines and his track times. Because you can tell his high school competition is laughably bad.

Talent is obvious but there are some intangibles this kid has that alone keeps him off any overrated list. I really like his work ethic, positive attitude and intelligence. It seems obvious to me he is blessed with all 3 traits. It's also obvious to me so far that Urb really values these too. I think it's part of his plan to keep from burning out - bring in quality kids on and off the field.

Most of the teams that Eze plays against are larger schools. However just because you don't have a lot of students in your school doesn't mean your competition isn't good. Think about it. Eze ran an 4.42 laser time at the opening. That was the 4th fastest forty time among elite atheltes. It also was the fastest among running backs.!

of relation?

Welcome to BuckeyePlanet Stacy! If you're somehow related to Zeke, please feel free to share information on his season here or just discuss the ongoing process of his becoming a Buckeye. I know I speak for many in saying that as a fanbase, we are EXTREMELY excited to have him on board and we can't wait to see the electric things he can do in our growing and explosive offense.

If you're not related, welcome anyhow and just ignore all that other stuff. Cheers!

Yep, the camps and combines he attended this past summer showed us what kind of athlete he is, even against elite talent. I can't wait for him to get here and give us another explosive player on offense.
