RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, Dallas Cowboys)

I'm liking how EzE has progressed so far in his time at OSU. He came in last year from HS as almost a speedster and more of a change of pace RB with track speed, and has now turned into a 3 down RB that not only can run past, but run over defenders and fall forward to get tough yards. and not only that, but he has also become a weapon in the pass game also which will greatly help our QB out and put the defense even more on their heels

EzE does look good but I'm sorry he's not at Hyde's level yet. 7.3 ypc last year after missing all the cupcakes and 6.6 against MSU. That being said EzE has two years to improve with an Oline that will just get better as well.

I think Elliott really has the potential to be a very good NFL back when he's through here. His pass catching skills are very good for a tailback. I also love how he falls forward when he's running. He could end up better than Hyde when it's all said and done.....so long as he doesn't leave after next season, which I think could happen.

I love that he may not be as big as Hyde, but runs just as hard. The play against UC where he was whistled down, and then proceeded to push a pile of about 8 or 10 men another 5-7 yards was amazing. May not have counted in the box score, but we were all watching. What a great RB the Buckeyes have.
He's not that much smaller than Guapo, maybe 5-7 lb. It's also interesting to note the similar measurables between Eze and Todd Gurley. Not saying Eze is quite at Gurley's level, but he's not far short IMO.

I also love how he falls forward when he's running.

If memory serves me, this was actually the turning point in Hyde's career.

He stopped falling forward through the line and started running upright with strength and balance. I've seen a lot of the same types of runs with Elliot that I saw Carlos's first few seasons, which eventually started going for 30-40-50 yd gainers once he realized he could outrun linebackers.
