Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

Only way it makes sense is if they only rate him as a QB (which technically he only wants to be a QB), rather than an ATH. If that is the case there's a very good argument for him not to be a top-100 player then. But I would rate him as a football player, and he would be a top-50 at minimum type of guy.

I can see rivals looking at him as a QB, which is what he wants. But truth is, at this point he's a top 50 ATH, not pure QB. Not saying that with some work he wouldn't be dynamic, but he's not there yet. Relies a whole lot on his legs and still needs to work on his touch. Something that most high end dual threat guys have problems with

I think @UpNorth_Buckeye probably hit on the logic they will use to justify dropping him so far. But I think any way you slice it, it is absurd to have Gibson outside the top 100. Looking back through past rankings, borderline QB's who are really athletes with a glorified arm are always on the top 100. Throw in the fact that Torrance is a supremely gifted athlete and it really is a head scratcher. I mean, at first I thought maybe it was a glitch in their system...

He's categorized as an ATH on Rivals, so they shouldn't be rating him as a QB.

So OSU is #4, now sandwiched in the top 10 between 3 ACC, 5 SEC teams and Ped St. After the Pedsters the next big 10 team is wisky at #26, and they may be falling after Anderson left.
Big 10 recruiting=

the rest of the B1G can choke on a rusty bottle cap for all I care

a weak B1G is an easier path to the playoffs

So far, is this the first season that Urb hasn't pulled a consensus 5* guy? Doesnt really matter to me what they rate them just asking in general.

The films I've seen of the guys we have on board will more than suffice. These guys totally fit what the Buckeyes are doing and some look awesome doing it.

I believe Justin Hilliard is a consensus 5star.
