Apparently, the All Blacks and Wallabies will play one of their 3N matches next year at Invesco Field in Denver. Interesting. Not sure how many of the 78K seats that will fill, but it is interesting.

Do you have a date or a link? I could probably find some dudes to fill a handful of them

Sounds like it will be next fall. No actual dates yet. My guess is that it's only 50-50 to happen.

South Africa apparently beat the snot out of Australia this weekend taking out all their frustrations on the poor Wallabies. The win out SA back at #2 in the world rankings, but they're still, I believe, in 3rd place in the Tri-Nations. I'm going to try to catch the replay tonight.

New Zealand and Australia meet this weekend to decide the Tri-Nations. It's showing in the US on Setanta at 2:15 tomorrow. Nice of Tressel to schedule the USC game at night so that I could watch rugby.

Go Bucks and Blacks!

If you guys get a chance, catch the Springboks at England. It was supposed to be England's chance to beat the Boks, but the Springboks have been excellent on both sides of the ball. It's been a defensive clinic. Great tackling. J P Pieterson just stopped an English back at full stride and lifted in right in the air to move him backwards five meters.

27-6 and about to enter the last twenty minutes (4th quarter to non-rugby fans).

In the 62nd minute, the ref took Jantjies out of the game on a questionable call for taking the man out of the game. Jantjies had nowhere to go and the English player was clearly play acting on the replay.

Still, England has not sniffed the try line.

South Africa 42
England 6 at Twickenham.

Bring on the Wolverweenies!

I'm going to watch the Boks replay on T'giving. Watching Ireland/Argentina and NZ/Wales tonight.

Tough week for the Northern hemisphere (England, France, and Wales lost) and the USA Eagles (who lost consecutive games to... Ja-fcuking-pan!).

South Africa's Pretoria Blue Bulls win Super 14

(link)

South Africa's Bulls stormed to their second Super 14 title in three years with a breathtaking 61-17 victory over New Zealand's Waikato Chiefs.

It was the biggest margin of victory in a final in the event's 14-year history.

The Bulls, with a large Springbok contingent, scored eight tries including 27 unanswered points in the space of 20 first-half minutes.
Fly-half Morne Steyn kicked 19 points to press his claims for a place in the South Africa side to face the Lions.

The Chiefs silenced the 52,000-strong crowd at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria when they opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a try by right wing Lelia Masaga.

But scrum-half Fourie du Preez launched his side's eight-try stampede with a brace in a three-minute span.

Winger Bryan Habana then scored twice from long-range, one from an interception, and with Steyn's boot as straight as an arrow, the Bulls had victory secured by the break.

The Chiefs got back to within 20 points at 37-17, but Bulls skipper Victor Matfield, centre Wynand Olivier, number eight Pierre Spies and replacement lock Danie Rossouw added tries.
