Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

Been lurking for way too long. Thought I would join in on the fun. Grew up in CMH, Dad was a ticket taker as I was growing up, always been around and into the Buckeyes. Moved to SC and needed to get my Buckeye fix somewhere...

I'll throw out my intro. I am a long time lurker that decided to go ahead and sign up. I'm Robert, I grew up in Akron, OH and have been a die hard buckeye and Cleveland sports fan my entire life.

I am a proud alumni of The Ohio State University (graduated in 2009) and currently reside in Chicago where I just finished my graduate degree. I will be staying up here in Chicago for at least another year working. Although I love Chicago my heart still lies in Columbus and I feel that I will end up back there for good in a couple years time.

I don't know if I'll be an active poster... I'm not usually a big poster on message boards (although I do have quite a passion for OSU) but I thought I'd let everyone know who I am. :osu:

Ahaha I am clearly not all that clever and already introduced myself in the general discussion forum. But I'll say hi here! Hello!

I think I've only seen one OSU game, and that was against Nebraska last year. Following OSU football is very new to me, but I followed their basketball team all season this year. Any tips on who to watch, who to love, what teams to hate, what games to look forward to?

The emboldened is quite possibly the easiest, but most important. The answer to that question is the horrible Whore Up North who goes by Ann Arbor. She is a fat, disgusting, abhorrent abomination and needs to be eradicated from the earth. She is also known by the colors of Piss and Bruise.

Fuck Michigan!

muffler dragon obviously has put you on the right track...hopefully you won't have a " THE GAME" reason to hate scUM like many of us older Buckeye fans for 100 years. I would suggest that you might also enjoy hating USCalifornia, da "U" Miami Hurricanes, and obviously Penn State.

I'd imagine all games will be entertaining to watch this season. I'd assume you'll find all links to the games will be posted here on BP on game day. I don't think I have ever wanted a season to start sooner than this one....there are 7 games on the schedule I'm extra interested in however.

California on 9/15 UFM Buckeye debut against the PAC.

MSU on 9/29 UFM Buckeye debut against the conference. Not to mention our new offense against what should be one of the best D's in the BIG. Payback.

Nebraska on 10/06 PAYBACK! Pure and simple after giving the game away last year.

Purdue on 10/20 I am looking for UFM and the Buckeyes to establish an annual beating in this game.

Penn State on 10/27 Because...They are!

Wisconsin on 11/17 Nothing would please me more than to start winning at Camp Randal on a consistent basis.

scUM or TSUN 11/24 So many reasons to list. My first choice however would be to crush whatever hope this fan base has acquired since last November.:oh:

Graduated from The Ohio State University in 2010, loved every minute I was there.

Found this site a few weeks ago, it is tremendous.

Go Bucks.

Love the name! Are you a soccer fan? Or an Incredible Hulk fan? Those are the only two Hulk's that come to mind.

Intro

Birthname is Mark but it's mostly "hey you" from other people, blankety blank from the wife and simply "pops" by my 10 year old son. I just turned 40 and have been a fan of tOSU since the Eddie George days. Never attended tOSU but still love the school a bunch. Have family in the Coldwater area and my stepmoms maiden name is Homan. I was wearing his #51 jersey at the Rosebowl when Ross had his pick and we shut up the large majority of pundits that picked the Ducks to win. It was a great day to start a new decade. Of course most days are great because I'm a Buckeye for life. How do other people cope? :oh:
