A Two-Week Spring Drive: February 29 - March 14
Yes! This Spring Drive is going to be a little different - we're doing a quick 'n' dirty two week drive with a goal of $4,000 rather than last Spring's $10,000 goal. Following this short and simple Spring Drive, the Fall Drive will become our primary yearly fundraiser, since it make sense to have it when the most people are reading and enjoying the site.

As a community, we've pitched in to cover the expenses of hosting BuckeyePlanet - hosting, software, servers, maintenance, and so forth. We're not just a group that enjoys a website, but a true community of friends, many of whom have known each other for years now. We've walked with Clarity through the past years, helping him work through his medical issues in many ways, including financially. Here is our chance to keep the legacy going for 2012!

Donations paid for BP's expenses, such as bandwidth, server maintenance, server upgrades, software licenses, and more. Even more importantly, BP was able to help sustain the Bryant household throughout the year, covering medical and other expenses not covered by disability or other sources.

This is the new coolness with major respect for the tradition of the BuckeyePlanet Spring and Sometimes Other Times of the Year Drives. This, my friends, is the kind of feat Nike can only hope to achieve one day. Three cheers for the design talents of our own jwinslow! These will be implemented in the next few days.
