State of Georgia Recruiting

We might need to rename the state for football purposes. Meyerton? South Meyer?

If the 'Shoe is "Fort Meyers", Florida would be "Old Fort Meyers":

We could call it the World's Largest Indoor Cocktail Party, because Georgia's former nemesis is involved, and things had to be moved indoors due to the more Northern orientation and the February date.

Or call it a "de-Richtification" of the situation.

LSU crushing Clemson could be very good for us.

:)

Not really. It's only one game. Don't see how it would sway players who are already enamored with the program. They had a pretty high rated class last year and were absolutely crushed by wvu, and wvu doesn't exactly look all that good this year

Yea, never said it would cause people to commit to us just because of one game, just stating that it would help us. And you further my point: you don't think a kid would see a team getting annihilated in back-to-back prime time bowl games as a deterrent in at least some way?

UGA, does have 12 commits out of the seventy five recruits listed. UGA is also listed as a possibility for several others. I guess they really can't take all the instate studs.

It's next to impossible. The Dawgs can do their best to keep Atlanta boxed in, but it's a city of 4 million people and every SEC School + Clemson and Florida State are chomping at the bits to get in there and recruit.

Factor in most kids south of Macon are closer to FSU/UF (distance wise) and it's a ridiculously challenging state to put a fence around.
