with Cameron Burrows
Ohio State has long been known as one of the top producers of defensive back talent & they look to continue that history with 2013 Trotwood-Madison Defensive Back Cameron Burrows.
Cam became the first member of the Buckeye's 2013 class, giving his verbal commitment on January 19th, 2012.
The BPRT was lucky enough to catch up with Cam for another edition of The Straight Six.
BPRT: When you think of Ohio State football, what comes to mind?
CB: History, tradition, pride, future, B1G Championships and National Championships.
BPRT: You have one more year in your high school career...what goals have you set personally for this upcoming season?
CB: Defensive player of the year and I want to become a better leader.
BPRT: When your career is over, how would you like people to remember Cam Burrows?
CB: That I was a great person on and off the field and always handled my business.
BPRT: If you were analyzing yourself on film, what would you list as your strengths and what needs some work?
CB: Strengths would be my covering skills and my football IQ, but what needs some work is being more physical, and making my breaks faster.
BPRT: Can you describe the feeling you had when you received the Ohio State offer? Who was there and what were some of the reactions?
CB: The feeling I had was indescribable. I was shocked and excited. I felt like my lifelong dream had come true. My head coach Maurice Douglass was there with me in Coach Tressel's office.
BPRT: What are some of your favorite things to do away from football?
CB: I like to eat and watch movies.
