TE Marcus Baugh (Birmingham Stallions)

Sounds like the makings of a future All American. That is assuming he ever sees the field that is. Seriously, this kid takes one step forward and two steps back. Sounds like a lot of talented people I have known. Just buy in Marcus. All the way. No more dipping your toe in the shallow in. Get all the way invested. This system and this coaching staff are the perfect environment for him to develop to his fullest potential if he can just stay out of his own way.

Ohio State tight end Marcus Baugh is suspended for two games, including the Navy one, for -- as Meyer calls it -- "stuff."
Not a surprise really. People forget that when we thought there could have been a chance he would no longer be on the team it was due to a third strike (I think) that happened after last season. Probably for that.

Edit: 3rd post on page 13. Underage drinking late January after the season ended. I'm guessing related to that, urban just didn't announce it to the media.

First off, this is in no way a criticism of Meyer's or staff's decision to suspend him... no problems with that whatsoever.

But hard for me to get worked up or concerned about a college kid caught underage drinking -- especially in the off season. Not like I wasn't guilty of that 100 times myself between the ages of 17 and 21.
It's not like before a game, which would imply he can't control it.
The only question I have is... what did he do to get caught?
Was he at a party that got raided and caught up in the trash? (no big deal)
Or was he outside the police department peeing on their cars and flipping trash cans? (true story; big deal - indicative of alcoholism imo)

Per Marcus' father, this is from his transgression in January. Score one for me and @BUCKYLE

Baugh was trying to prove to the coaching staff that he can be a positive member of the team after being busted for underage drinking for a second time in January. He seems to still be on track, as Baugh's father, Frank, confirmed to cleveland.com that this suspension is an extension from the January issues.

And there you go. Buy in Marcus. It's certainly not too late. The depth chart in front of you is very attractive. This offense is transforming in a way that benefits you. You are not a big, blocking type TE so this is a great opportunity young man!!!!
