Jordan Hicks (Philadelphia Eagles)

Second RB07OSU - Kid was always around the ball. Once his sights are you he will get to you. Destroys blockers to get to the ball carrier (my head still hurts from him lighting up that poor RB trying to block him) and gets there isn a hurry.

One to keep an eye on for sure.

The play were he chased Braxton miller down. Really shows u what kind of athlete he is.

Yeah and he didn't even really have a fantastic angle, but it really showed his amazing closing speed. He reminds me of Arthur Brown.

Jordan's film reminds me a lot of Ross Homan's JR year film from high school, except Jordan plays OLB rather than MLB. He's got impressive speed and takes the right lines to get to the ball carrier. He'd make a great OLB or DE at the next level, maybe even S if he works more in coverage. Definetly seems worthy of a Buckeye offer to me, as long as everything's in order.

With Texas normally not offering alot of OOS recruits, only several elite national type recruits every year. What are the thoughts from the Planet as to whether JH will be a top national type recruit that could make Texas formidable competition for us, as well as others.

I think he has the potential to be a 5 star prospect and the top player in the state imo. He has good enough size but his closing speed is second to none. He is always making plays. You don't see him usually making tackles downfield, as he gets to the ball behind or at the LOS. We'll have to see how Jordan does in the combines next year but I think he can be a top 20 type recruit in the country.

BN$--Huge Recruiting Weekend Keeps Getting Bigger

Jordan claims offers from Ohio State, Texas, Florida, Michigan State, Illinois, Stanford, West Virginia, Indiana, Duke and Cincinnati. He says Texas is his favorite with tOSU and Florida close behind.

Well hopefully we make up some ground. It seems very likely that we could miss out on some of our top targets in state for '10 (James, Hicks, Ware, etc.). Like I said though, I think Hicks is a 5 star and early offers from those likes will get you consideration.
